This board features two independent power and ground sections to isolate the OSD’s analog stage: a +5V section for the ATmega and the OSD’s digital stage, powered through the FTDI cable or other +5V source and a regulated +5V section for the OSD’s analog stage, powered through the video in/out header and capable of handling up to +12V input. I have built several brushless quad copters from parts I got from Germany back in 2006. I like that it is a mini Arduino (328P) based on-screen display board. It was 1 channel, 1 tube and a compound escapement. Since I’m building a FPV (first person view) based quadcopter, I need something that will display the copters telemetry to a video display or goggles. I too have a little issue with my HK minimosd v1.1 and I was hoping someone might be able to shed some light. This board features two independent power and ground sections to isolate the OSD’s analog stage: a +5V section for the ATmega and the OSD’s digital stage, powered through the FTDI cable or other +5V source and a regulated +5V section.
